Unfortunately I’m not working on the Mercury Comet yet….Instead I’m working on replacing the rotors and disc brakes all the way around on my 2002 Pt Cruiser. For a small fortune I picked up the rotors and pads for all 4 wheels today from Advance auto parts because they have the best local pricing in town.
I’ve done front disc brakes on my dad’s pt cruiser before and I’m sure I can get the discs off without any hassle. The back brakes however may be a little more interesting as I’ve never done the rear discs with the interior parking brake drum. I’ll probably start with the front tomorrow and depending on how long it takes to finish I will try to get the back ones done as well.
I’ll try to remember my camera for those who have never done it before and are interested in how it’s done.
